Note
These bolts do not have to be slackened in order to remove the brake caliper or change the brake pads. |
q | Tightening torque: 190 Nm. |

q | If assembly work is required, do not leave caliper hanging from brake hose but secure it to bodywork with binding wire |
q | With the exception of “Removing and installing brake pads”, “Removing and installing brake caliper” and “Removing and installing brake pistons”, no repairs may be performed on the brake caliper |
q | Do not twist hose when installing |

Note
A wire for the wear indicator is fitted to the inner pad. |
q | There is an adhesive foil on the backplates of the outer brake pads. Remove the protective foil before fitting pads. |
q | Before fitting pads, clean guide surfaces and apply a thin coating of polycarbamide grease → Parts catalogue |

q | Brake hose must not be twisted. |

q | Screw into brake caliper housing |
q | Screw into brake hose, counter hold on brake hose hexagon. |
q | Do not twist hose when fitting |
q | Ensure that lugs are properly seated in grooves in bracket. |
16 - | Bracket for brake line |
q | Bolt to brake caliper housing |
q | Attach brake line |
17 - | Brake line connection to brake caliper |
q | Tightening torque: 19 Nm |
18 - | Bolt for guide pin |
q | Tightening torque: 30 Nm |
