Installing > < Removing and installing circulation pump V55 (horizontal auxiliary heater installation)

Removing
–  Switch off ignition and auxiliary heater.
–  Unfasten coolant expansion tank cap to dissipate pressure in coolant circuit.
–  Detach coolant expansion tank from vehicle (auxiliary heater is installed horizontally between engine and left longitudinal member).
   
–  Pinch off coolant hoses -A- (from engine/coolant shut-off valve to auxiliary heater) and -B- (from auxiliary heater to heat exchanger of air conditioner unit/heater) using, for example, hose clamps up to Ø 25 mm -VAS 3094-.

–  Mark positions of coolant hoses -A- and -B- with respect to circulation pump -V55-.
–  Detach coolant hoses -A- and -B- from circulation pump.
–  Unplug connector -C- from circulation pump -V55-.
–  Remove circulation pump -V55--D- downwards from holder.
