  Note
t  Internal resistance of glow plug for heater -Q9- = 0.7 Ω+/-0.2 Ω (at 20 °C)
t  Resistances of less than 20 Ω can no longer be measured with the required accuracy using workshop equipment. The internal resistance test can therefore only be used to detect major component or wiring damage.
t  In the event of excessive resistance, check connector at glow plug for heater -Q9- for firm attachment and corrosion.
t  The earth connection for the glow plug for heater -Q9- is provided by way of a stud at the auxiliary heater housing. If applicable, check stud for firm attachment and corrosion.
t  The glow plug for heater -Q9- is designed for a voltage of 9.5 V. The voltage is regulated accordingly by the auxiliary heater control unit -J364-. At the rated voltage of 9.5 V, the current flow is approx. 11 A. If a voltage of 12 V (only permissible for a short period) is applied to a removed glow plug, the current flow is approx. 13 A and the glow plug starts to glow.
