Removing and installing clutch pedal switch for engine startF194

Removing and installing clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194-

Note

To ensure a secure fit, the clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194- must not be installed more than once.

Removing

–	Remove storage compartment on driver's side → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.

–	Detach electrical connector -3- on clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194-.

–	Press clutch pedal -1- all the way down and hold it in this position.

–	At the same time, release clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194--2- by turning it 45° in the direction indicated -arrow- and pull it out of the guide.

Installing

–	Pull out plunger -arrow- all the way before installing clutch pedal switch.

–	When installing clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194-, press clutch pedal -1- all the way down -arrow A-. Hold clutch pedal in this position.

–	Guide clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194--2- through opening in retainer, and at the same time push plunger against clutch pedal and secure switch by turning it 45° in the direction indicated -arrow B-.

–	Attach electrical connector -3- on clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194-.

–	Install storage compartment on driver's side → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
