Removing and installing selector mechanism cover (vehicles up to VIN 8E_6A156499)
Removing and installing selector mechanism cover (vehicles up to VIN 8E_6A156499)
   
Removing
–  Remove selector lever handle → Chapter.
–  Open the ashtray on the centre console and remove the trim -arrows-.
–  Remove two retaining screws for ashtray and lift rear of ashtray.

–  Release the 4 retainers -arrows- and lift off the cover -1- including the guide.
–  Unplug electrical connector from the side of the guide.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Install selector lever handle → Chapter.
