The “multitronic 0AN, front-wheel drive” gearbox is similar in function to the continuously variable automatic gearbox multitronic 01J. Detailed information on the basic principle of this gearbox → No.228.

The multitronic 0AN is also referred to as a “Continuously Variable Transmission” (“CVT”).
