Dismantling and assembling sequence
Removing and installing gearbox cover, internal selector mechanism, input shaft and pinion shaft.
Remove differential from gearbox housing before removing pinion shaft. Then rotate pinion shaft by hand and check double angular contact ball bearing for wear (running noises). The bearing should not “catch” and should run smoothly when the installed pinion shaft is rotated.
