1 - Turbocharger
2 - Gasket
q   Renew
3 - Lambda probe -G39- and Lambda probe heater -Z19- (black connector)
q   Tightening torque: 55 Nm
q   Grease only the threads with high-temperature paste. The paste must not penetrate into the slots on the probe body.
q   High-temperature paste → Parts catalogue
q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.24
4 - Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- and Lambda probe 1 heater after catalytic converter -Z29- (brown connector)
q   Tightening torque: 55 Nm
q   Grease only the threads with high-temperature paste. The paste must not penetrate into the slots on the probe body.

q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.24
5 - Catalytic converter
q   Protect from damage by knocks and impacts
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
6 - 25 Nm
q   Renew
7 - Gasket
q   Renew
8 - Bolt
9 - Front exhaust pipe
q   With flexible joint
q   Do not bend flexible joint more than 10° – otherwise it can be damaged
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
10 - Clamp (front)
q   Installation position: bolt connection facing to the left.
q   Installation position of bolts → Fig.
q   Before tightening, align exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter
q   Tighten bolt connections evenly
11 - 23 Nm
q   Renew
12 - Spacer bush
13 - Buffer
14 - Bracket
15 - Spacer bush
16 - Bolt
17 - Rear silencer
q   For left side of vehicle
q   Combined in one unit with centre silencer as original equipment. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
q   Cutting point → Anchor
q   Align exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter
18 - Mountings
q   Renew if damaged
q   Check preload → Chapter
19 - 23 Nm
20 - Rear silencer
q   For right side of vehicle
q   Combined in one unit with centre silencer as original equipment. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
q   Cutting point → Anchor
q   Align exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter
21 - 23 Nm
22 - 23 Nm
23 - Clamps (rear)
q   For separate replacement of centre and rear silencers
q   Before tightening, align exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter
q   Installation position: bolted connections facing outwards
q   Installation position of bolts → Fig.
q   Tighten bolt connections evenly
24 - Centre silencer
q   Combined in one unit with rear silencers as original equipment. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
q   Cutting point → Anchor
q   Align exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter
25 - 23 Nm
26 - Mounting
q   Renew if damaged
q   Note direction of arrow (direction of travel) when installing
q   Check preload → Chapter
27 - Bolt
28 - Washer
29 - Compression spring
30 - Spacer sleeve
31 - 25 Nm
q   Renew
32 - 30 Nm
q   Renew

   
Installation position of front clamp
–  Install clamp so that ends of bolts do not protrude beyond bottom of clamp.
l  Bolt connection faces to left.

–  Fit clamps so that ends of bolts do not protrude beyond bottom of clamp.
l  Bolt connections face outwards.
