t  Two-arm puller, commercially available

Removing
l  Engine removed → Chapter.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
–  Remove sealing flange (front) → Chapter.
–  Remove drive chain for oil pump → Item.
–  Pull off crankshaft chain sprocket using e.g. claw-type puller -Kukko 44-1--item 2- (protect end of crankshaft with thrust plate -40-105--item 1-).

Installing
  WARNING
Wear protective gloves.
–  Heat chain sprocket in oven for approx. 15 minutes to 220°C.
–  Using pliers, locate sprocket on end of crankshaft.
l  Installation position: wider collar on sprocket faces engine.
–  Push sprocket onto crankshaft as far as the stop using drift sleeve -30-100-.
