Removing
–  Remove sump and baffle plate → Chapter.
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Pull chain sprocket off oil pump shaft.
–  Unscrew bolts -1- and -3- and remove oil pump.
  Note
Shown in illustration with balance shaft assembly removed.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Insert dowel sleeves → Item at top of oil pump.
l  Chain sprocket can only be fitted in one position on oil pump shaft.
–  Install sump → Anchor.
–  Fill up with engine oil and check oil level → Booklet803 or → Booklet805.
