t  Lifting tackle -3033-
t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- with bracket for V8 engine, Audi S4, allroad quattro -VAS 6095/1-6- or bracket for V8 engine, Audi S4, allroad quattro -VAS 6095/1-6A-
t  Workshop hoist -VAS 6100-
t  Lift arm extension (workshop hoist) -VAS 6101-

   
t  Hooks -10-222 A/2-

Procedure
–  Unbolt bracket for wiring harness at engine console (right-side) -arrows-.
  A10-1537
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at engine mounting (right-side).
–  Remove bolts -arrows- and detach engine support (right-side).
  Note
Shown in illustration without console for engine mounting.
–  Repeat procedure on other side of vehicle.

–  Detach vacuum hose -1-.
–  Detach air intake hose -2- from throttle valve module.

–  Attach the shackle -10-222 A/12- to the engine lifting eye (rear right).
–  Attach hook -10-222 A/2- to shackle -10-222 A/12-.

–  Attach the lifting tackle -3033- to hook -10-222 A/2- and workshop hoist -VAS 6100- with lift arm extension (workshop hoist) -VAS 6101- as shown in the illustration.
–  Lift engine off the support elements on scissor-type assembly platform -VAS 6131 A-.

–  Secure engine to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- with bracket for V8 engine, Audi S4, allroad quattro -VAS 6095/1-6- or bracket for V8 engine, Audi S4, allroad quattro -VAS 6095/1-6A-, as shown in the illustration. Tightening torque: 42 Nm.
