l  Sensors must be properly attached and adjusted; refer to operating instructions of equipment manufacturer.
l  Tread depth difference of no more than 2 mm on one axle.
l  Tyres inflated to correct pressures
l  Ensure that the sliding plates and turntables are not touching the end stop when checking the alignment.
l  Vehicle unladen → Note
1)  "Unladen" means: the weight of the vehicle ready for the road (full tank, full windscreen washer/headlight cleaner fluid container, spare wheel, vehicle tools and vehicle jack), without driver.
Spare wheel, vehicle tool kit and jack must be in their specified positions.
l  Vehicle accurately aligned, suspension bounced and rocked several times
l  Check suspension, steering and steering linkage for excessive play or damage and service if necessary.
l  Perform compensation of wheel rim runout: A certain amount of axial runout at the wheel rims is permissible, but this may already exceed the specified toe-in tolerance. In such cases it is not possible to set the toe-in correctly without first compensating for the wheel runout.
Wheel alignment must be checked:
t  In the event of handling problems
t  Following accident damage
t  If suspension components have been removed,
t  If tyres are worn unevenly.
