Disconnect the battery earth cable before working on the electrical system.
When re-connecting battery -A-, always adhere to correct sequence for connecting and disconnecting battery -A- → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.27.
Description
The navigation system JP4 comprises an “aftermarket” RNS.
The vehicle is pre-fitted with all necessary connections for the navigation system. The sound system (loudspeakers) and aerials are pre-installed.
Only the navigation unit itself (RNS) needs to be installed by the workshop.
Aerial wire repairs → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.97.
CAN bus wire repairs → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.97.
