–  Switch on telematics system
–  Press following sequence of buttons on telephone handset -R37-: “#4610#”.
–  Confirm entry on telephone handset -R37- by pressing the Navi button.
Display shows:
   
Exit
service mode

Service mode is activated; battery -A- can be disconnected.
