Removing
  WARNING
High voltage! Danger to life!
Safety precautions when handling gas discharge lamps → Electrical system; General information; Rep. Gr.94.
–  Remove headlight → Chapter.
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows-.
–  Pull control unit -1- off headlight housing.

–  Disconnect adapter cable -2- for gas discharge lamp at control unit -1-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Check gasket between control unit for gas discharge lamp and headlight housing.
–  Install headlight → Anchor.
