| Remove steering column switch module → Chapter. |

| Unplug electrical connector at reader coil. |
| –
| Detach electrical connector -1- at ignition/starter switch. |
| –
| Remove sealing paint from both securing bolts -arrows-. |
| –
| Slacken off bolts -arrows- slightly and pull ignition/starter switch out of steering lock housing -2-. |
| Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following: |
Note | Ensure that the ignition/starter switch and lock cylinder are in the same position, e.g. “Ignition ON”, when installing. |

| Apply sealing paint to bolts -arrows- at steering lock housing -2-. |
| –
| Install steering column switch module → Anchor. |
