Removing and installing parking aid control unit -J446-

Removing

t	Fitting location: At back wall of luggage compartment (rear left) beneath rear light

–	Remove luggage compartment side trim (left side) → Rep. Gr.70.

Saloon:

–	Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove base retainer -1-.

–	Unplug connectors and disconnect aerial wires on back of navigation interface -R94--item 1-.

Note

Disregard -item 2-.

Avant:

–	Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove base retainer -1-.

All models:

–	Unplug electrical connectors -2- and -3-.

–	Unscrew bolts -arrows-.

–	Detach parking aid control unit -J446--item 1-.

Note

Illustration shows Saloon version.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

Tightening torque
