Removing
–  Remove front wheel (right-side).
–  Remove alternator → Chapter.
–  Unfasten quick release fasteners -3- and detach rear section of noise insulation.
  A10-1320
–  Unscrew wire for terminal B+ -item 2-.
–  Unplug electrical connector for terminal 50 -item 1-.
–  Pull heat shield -3- off solenoid switch.
–  Unscrew securing bolts for starter -arrows- and remove starter.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install alternator → Anchor; observe notes on connecting battery.
