Removing top section of reservoir
–  Detach cover -1- on left of engine compartment.
  A10-1031
–  Disconnect overflow pipe -2- at top section of reservoir -3-.
–  Unscrew nut -1- and screw out bolt -4-.
–  Lift top section of reservoir out of lower section.

Removing lower section of reservoir
l  Top section of reservoir removed
–  Remove front left wheel.
–  Remove front wheel housing liner (left-side) → Rep. Gr.66.
–  Screw out bolts -arrows A-.
–  Screw out bolts -arrows B- and detach cross-piece -4-.
–  Unplug connector -1- and pull washer fluid pipe -2- out of fastener.
–  Swivel lower section of reservoir -3- slightly to rear.

–  Press release button and detach hose coupling -2-.
–  Detach washer fluid pipe -1-.
–  Unplug connectors -3- and -4-.
–  Take out washer fluid reservoir downwards.

Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
  Note
t  Use a wire brush to clean threads of bolts screwed in with locking fluid. Then apply locking fluid and insert bolts. For locking fluid, refer to → Parts catalogue.
t  Tapped holes into which self-locking bolts or bolts with locking fluid had been screwed, must be cleaned (e.g. with a thread cutter). Otherwise there is a danger of the bolts shearing off on next removal.
–  When attaching water hose, make sure it is heard to engage in connection of washer fluid pump.
–  Tighten bolts in sequence -1 ... 5-.
–  Install top section of reservoir.

l  1) Replace bolt.
