  Note
t  On rims with bonded wheel trims, take care not to scratch the wheel trims.
t  Wheel trims have a very sensitive surface.
t  If a wheel trim is damaged, the rim must be renewed.
   
t  The wheel trim cannot be renewed.

1 - PAX tyre
2 - Support ring
3 - Wheel for PAX tyre
q   Observe the fitting instructions → Chapter
4 - Wheel electronics
q   All batteries must be renewed together
q   Remaining service life, temperature and inflation pressure can be read out via diagnosis function with vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051-
5 - Metal valve body
q   Use only correct valves as specified in → Electronic parts catalogue
q   Supplied as complete unit
6 - Wheel bolt
  Note
t  Make sure that the correct type of wheel bolts are fitted; refer to → Electronic parts catalogue.
t  Always use the same type of wheel bolts on all four rims of a vehicle.
q   Observe the fitting instructions → Chapter
q   Tightening torque for wheel bolts → Chapter
q   Anti-theft wheel bolt → Fig.
7 - Adapter for wheel bolt
q   Attach to corresponding wheel bolt → Fig.
8 - Cap
q   Attach to wheel bolt
9 - Two-piece wheel bolt
q   Observe the fitting instructions → Chapter
q   Tightening torque for wheel bolts → Chapter
10 - Trim cap
11 - Cap for wheel bolts
12 - Adhesive balancing weights
q   Not more than 60 g permitted per rim
q   Remove dirt and grease from wheel rim at bonding point
q   Pull off backing foil
q   Bond on balancing weights at surfaces provided for this purpose
