Adjusting bonnet

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Setting gauge -3371-

Gap widths at bonnet

t	Dimension A = 5.0 mm

t	Dimension B = 4.5 mm

t	Dimension C = 5.0 mm

t	Dimension D = 3.0 mm

t	Dimension E = 4.5 mm

Bump stops for height adjustment

Note

The adjusting buffers -2- are used to adjust the height of the bonnet.

l	When bonnet is closed, adjusting buffers -2- must rest on lock carrier.

l	The rubber buffers -1- serve as impact protection.

Renewing impact guard for bonnet

Note

The impact guard is additionally provided with a piece of double-sided adhesive tape.

q	To remove, pull clip out of bonnet and pull off impact guard

q	Installing:

–	Push lining into holes provided on inner panel first via lugs on rear edge.

–	Push in lugs on front edge and side.

–	Retaining clips must engage audibly when pressing in.

–	Press in clip.
