Removing and installing trim panel for B-pillar (front) > < Strips and panels

  Note
t  Note different versions.
t  Roof trim strips are not riveted to vehicle body; they must be unclipped downwards for removal.
t  Roof trim strips with high gloss must not be twisted or bent.
t  The side window can remain installed when removing the roof trim strip.
   
Saloon
1 - Roof trim strip
q   Roof trim strip (standard version):
–  Unclip roof trim strip from body, starting at C-pillar.
q   Roof trim strip (high-gloss version):
–  Pull trim strip out of clips at bottom of side panel, starting at C-pillar.
–  Carefully lever roof trim strip out of retaining clips over side window and unclip from body flange.
–  Unclip roof trim strip from body downwards starting at A-pillar.

–  To remove, lever out of retaining clips at side, starting at C-pillar.
–  Prise roof trim strip sideways out of retaining clips on roof.
–  Push trim strip downwards out of roof trim strip.

1 - Roof trim strip
q   Roof trim strip (standard version):
–  Unclip roof trim strip from body, starting at C-pillar.
q   Roof trim strip (high-gloss version):
–  Pull trim strip out of clips towards rear at side, beginning at bottom of side panel of C-pillar.
–  Carefully lever roof trim strip out of retaining clips at D-pillar and above side window and unclip from body flange.
–  Unclip roof trim strip from body downwards starting at A-pillar.
