| Water drain hoses (saloon) |
| 1 - | Water drain hose (front) |
| – | The water drain hoses (front) are clipped in at the A-pillars and end between the door and the A-pillar. |
| – | To remove the hoses, the A-pillar trim panels (top and bottom) must be removed → Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Pull water drain hose off sunroof, unfasten grommet at A-pillar and pull hose out downwards. |
| – | To clean, access hose from sunroof opening. |

| – | Starting at bottom, pull water drain hose in and completely upwards along A-pillar. |
| – | Press grommet in at A-pillar and attach water drain hose at sunroof. |
| – | Clip water drain hose into retainers at A-pillar. |
| q | To clean, access hose from sunroof opening. |
| 2 - | Sliding/tilting sunroof |
| 3 - | Water drain hose (rear) |
| q | Removing |
| – | The water drain hoses (rear) are routed in the C-pillars and end on the side beneath the wheel housing liner. |
| – | C-pillar trim and D-pillar trim removed; lower headliner at rear → Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Pull water drain hose off rear of sunroof. |
| – | Loosen front section of wheel housing liner (rear) and press it to the side until grommet at water drain hose is accessible. |
| – | Unfasten grommet beneath wheel housing liner and pull out downwards. |
| q | Installing |
| – | Install in reverse order. |
| q | Clean from lower end of hose. |
| q | To do so, wheel housing liner must be unfastened and pressed to the side in this area → Chapter. |
| q | Clean from lower end of hose. |
