| Actuation of the temperature flaps and thus the right heater housing differ for vehicles with an air conditioner of the „Deluxe“ or „Basic type“ → Chapter and → Electronic parts catalogue. |

| To maintain the stability of the air conditioning unit, only ever remove one heater housing (on left or right side) with the air conditioning unit fitted. |

| On vehicles with an air conditioner of the „Deluxe“ type, the right heater housing can be removed and installed with the mounting plate for the control motors either detached or attached. This mounting plate is not fitted on vehicles with an air conditioner of the „Basic“ type. |
Caution | Do not simultaneously remove the left and right heater housing. |

| The two heater housings provide support for the air conditioning unit and are therefore not to be removed simultaneously so as to maintain the stability of the air conditioning unit. |
