Renewing oil seal for flange shaft (right-side) > < Dismantling and assembling input shaft and output shaft

The oil seals -A- and -B- can only be renewed with the gearbox removed from the vehicle → Servicing 6-speed manual gearbox 0B3, front-wheel drive; Rep. gr.39.
The oil seals -C-, and -D- can be renewed with the gearbox installed in the vehicle.
  Note
If you are renewing the cover for the final drive -item 2-, you must adjust the preload of the tapered roller bearings for the differential → Chapter.

B - Oil seal
q   For flange shaft (left-side)

q   For flange shaft (right-side)

D - Oil seal
q   For selector shaft

7 - Clutch module
q   Removing and installing → Servicing 6-speed manual gearbox 0B3, front-wheel drive; Rep. gr.30
8 - Bolt
q   24 Nm
q   Steel bolts (M8; 38 mm long)
