Cleaning ATF pipes > < Exploded view - ATF cooler and ATF pipes (vehicles with 4-cyl. or 6-cyl. engine)

Exploded view - ATF cooler and ATF pipes (vehicles with 8-cyl. engine)
1 - O-ring
q   Renew
q   Lightly lubricate with ATF before inserting
2 - ATF pipe (supply)
q   Connecting piece on ATF cooler
q   With plug-in connector → Item
3 - Bolt
q   5 Nm
q   First push in ATF pipes with new O-rings by hand as far as stop
4 - Bolt
q   9 Nm
q   Secures ATF pipe to engine
5 - ATF pipe (return)
q   From ATF cooler to gearbox
q   With plug-in connector → Item
6 - ATF pipe (supply)
q   From gearbox to ATF cooler
7 - Bolt
q   23 Nm
q   Secures ATF pipe together with heat shield for drive shaft
8 - Nut
q   8 Nm
q   Secures ATF pipe to engine
9 - O-ring
q   Renew
q   Lightly lubricate with ATF before inserting
10 - Gearbox
11 - Bolt
q   20 Nm
q   First push in ATF pipes with new O-rings by hand as far as stop
q   Retaining tab on bottom ATF pipe should rest on threaded hole in gearbox
q   Retaining tab on top ATF pipe should rest on bottom pipe
12 - O-ring
q   Renew
q   Fitted inside plug-in connector → Item
q   Lightly lubricate with ATF before inserting
13 - Retaining clip
q   To disconnect plug-in connector → Item, pull retaining clip off
q   Before connecting ATF pipe at plug-in connector, first engage retaining clip in plug-in connector three times
14 - Plug-in connector
q   To disconnect ATF pipes, pull off retaining clip → Item
q   To assemble ATF pipes, attach retaining clip → Item and renew O-ring → Item
q   Slide ATF pipes together and engage
15 - Connecting piece
q   For plug-in connector
16 - ATF pipe (return)
q   Connecting piece on ATF cooler
q   From ATF cooler to gearbox
q   Attached to plug-in connector → Item
17 - ATF cooler
q   Integrated in radiator for engine coolant
q   Removing and installing → Rep. Gr.19
