Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Hook and support tool -3311- with bolt -3311/1-
  W00-0698
t  Workshop hoist -VAS 6100-
Procedure
l  Gearbox removed
  Caution
Risk of damage to gearbox components if gearbox is not supported correctly when removed.
Do not set down the gearbox on its ATF oil pan.
  W00-1214
  WARNING
Risk of accident if gearbox is not secured sufficiently.
t  Replace bolt of hook and support tool -3311- with new, longer bolt -3311/1-.
t  Otherwise the gearbox is not secured properly.
–  Secure gearbox to hook and support tool -3311- (using new, longer bolt -3311/1-).
–  The workshop hoist -VAS 6100- can be used to lift and move the gearbox.
  Note
Disregard -VW 309-.
