Removing and installing coolant temperature senderG62
Removing and installing coolant temperature sender -G62-
Removing
l  Engine cold.
–  Open filler cap on coolant expansion tank briefly and allow residual pressure in cooling system to dissipate.
   
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at coolant temperature sender -G62-.
  Note
t  Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping coolant.
t  Insert new coolant temperature sender -G62- immediately into connection to avoid loss of coolant.
–  Remove bolt -arrow- and detach coolant temperature sender -G62--3-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter „Actuator for engine temperature regulation -N493-, coolant pump - exploded view“
  Note
Fit new O-rings.
–  Check coolant level → Anchor.
