Removing
–  Remove rear noise insulation → Rep. gr.66.
   
–  Remove nuts -arrows-.

  Caution
Avoid damage to flexible joint.
t  Do not bend flexible joint more than 10°.
t  Install flexible joint so that it is not under tension.
t  Take care not to damage wire mesh on flexible joint.
–  Unfasten connections -arrows-, push clamp towards rear and detach front silencer.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter „Silencers - exploded view“
  Note
Renew seals, gaskets and self-locking nuts.
–  Align the exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter.
–  Install noise insulation → Rep. gr.66.
