Removing
   
–  Remove front noise insulation -1- → Rep. gr.66.
  A10-11071
–  Vehicles with cross member -3-: Move lock carrier into service position → Rep. gr.50.
–  Vehicles without cross member-3-: Remove radiator fan control unit -J293- → Chapter.
–  Remove poly V-belt → Chapter.
–  Detach cover cap for vibration damper.

–  Remove bolts -arrows- (counterhold at central bolt).
–  Remove vibration damper.
Installing
Install in reverse order. Note the following:
Tightening torques → Chapter „Poly V-belt drive - exploded view“
Tightening torques → Chapter „Assembly mountings - exploded view“

–  When installing vibration damper use only new genuine bolts (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
l  The vibration damper can only be installed in one position. The hole -arrow- in the vibration damper must be located over the projection on the toothed belt sprocket.
