Overview
t  → Chapter „Charge air cooler - exploded view“
t  → Chapter „Removing and installing charge air cooler“
t  → Chapter „Removing and installing charge pressure sender -G31- / intake air temperature sender -G42-“
t  → Chapter „Checking charge air system for leaks“
  Note
t  Check that all air pipes and hoses and vacuum lines are correctly fitted and that there are no leaks before carrying out tests or repairs.
t  Hose connections and air pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before assembly.
t  Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
t  To ensure that the air hoses can be properly secured at their connections, spray rust remover onto the worm thread of used hose clips before installing.
