Removing and installing hose connection with thermostat for exhaust gas recirculation - vehicles with SCR catalytic converter
Removing and installing hose connection with thermostat for exhaust gas recirculation - vehicles with SCR catalytic converter
   
Removing
–  Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove pump for exhaust gas recirculation cooler -V400- → Chapter.

–  Remove bolt -1-.
–  Release hose clip -2-, detach connection with thermostat for exhaust gas recirculation from connection and disconnect from coolant hose.
  Note
Disregard -item 3-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Coolant pump and thermostat - exploded view“
  Note
t  Fit new O-ring.
t  Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Clean sealing surface.
–  Install pump for exhaust gas recirculation cooler -V400- → Chapter.
–  Fill up with coolant → Anchor.
