Removing and installing temperature sender for engine temperature regulationG694
Removing and installing temperature sender for engine temperature regulation -G694-
   
Removing
l  Engine cold.
–  Open filler cap on coolant expansion tank briefly and allow residual pressure in cooling system to dissipate.

–  Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.
  A10-11504
–  Release hose clip -arrow- and remove air hose.
  A21-10698
–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
  Note
Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping coolant.
–  Unscrew bolt -2- and detach temperature sender for engine temperature regulation -G694-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Coolant temperature senders - exploded view“
  Note
t  Fit new O-rings.
t  To avoid loss of coolant, insert new temperature sender for engine temperature regulation -G694- immediately.
–  Check coolant level → Anchor.
