2 - Lock plate
3 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Chapter
4 - Upper transverse link
5 - Nut
q   95 Nm
q   Always renew if removed
q   Vehicle must be in unladen position when tightening → Chapter
6 - Eccentric washer

q   For brake hose, brake caliper wiring harness and wiring harness for rear speed sensor

15 - Splash plate for brakes

q   Mixed installation is not permissible
21 - Bolt

q   Vehicle must be in unladen position when tightening → Chapter

Wheel alignment must be checked if bolt is removed.
23 - Spacer
q   Always renew if removed
24 - Nut

  Caution
The bolt connection must not be tightened by the nut.

Wheel alignment must be checked if nut is slackened.
25 - Lower transverse link
26 - Bonded rubber bush
q   Renewing → Chapter

q   80 Nm +90°
q   Always renew if removed
29 - Washer
q   For corrosion protection

31 - Shock absorber

32 - Protective sleeve

35 - Shock absorber mounting (top)
q   Installation position → Chapter

Avoiding dirtying or damaging the seal when laying it down or placing it in storage
t  Wheel bearing -1- must always face upwards.
t  Always put down the wheel bearing unit with the wheel hub -2- facing downwards.
The same procedure applies to the wheel bearing without wheel hub.
