Removing
–  Remove bolts -1, 2, 3, 5- to detach cover -4- for lock carrier (front) → Rep. gr.50.
–  Lift cover -4- for lock carrier -arrow- and unhook at radiator grille → Rep. gr.50.

–  Clamp off hydraulic lines -5- and -6- with hose clamps up to Ø 25 mm -3094-.

–  Remove hose clips -3- and -4-.
–  Disconnect hydraulic lines -5- and -6- from hydraulic fluid cooler.

–  Release retainers -3-, tilt top section of hydraulic fluid cooler -1- forwards slightly and lift cooler out of brackets -2- at air conditioner condenser.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence. Note the following points:
  A48-10495
–  Markings -2- on hoses should face the top (»12 o'clock« position).
  Caution
Hold pipes -4- when attaching hoses -1-.
–  Fill up with hydraulic fluid.
–  Clean off any fluid spills.
–  Bleed steering system → Chapter.
–  Check hydraulic fluid level → Chapter.
–  Check all opened lines for leaks → Chapter.
–  Install lock carrier cover (front) → Rep. gr.63.
  Note
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
