  Note
t  The vehicle must always be in unladen condition when measuring wheel alignment → Chapter.
t  Check which running gear version is fitted in vehicle. This information is listed on the vehicle data sticker → Chapter
Always keep to the following sequence of operations.
1 - Check centre position of steering rack → Chapter.
2 - Carry out wheel rim runout compensation → Chapter.
3 - Check full steering lock → Chapter.
4 - Check camber at front wheels and centralise if necessary → Chapter.
5 - Check camber at rear wheels and adjust if necessary → Chapter.
6 - Check toe setting at rear wheels and adjust if necessary → Chapter.
7 - Check toe setting at front wheels and adjust if necessary → Chapter.
8 - If front axle settings have been altered, calibration of the dynamic steering must be performed → Chapter → vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.
9 - If suspension geometry settings have been altered, zero position compensation must be performed for steering angle sender -G85-, see → vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
10 - If rear axle settings have been altered, calibration of the dynamic steering must be performed → Chapter → vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.
11 - If rear axle settings have been altered, ACC adjustment → Chapter and/or calibration of the lane departure warning function → Chapter must be performed.
