Removing and installing reversing camera system control unitJ772
Removing and installing reversing camera system control unit -J772-
The reversing camera system control unit -J772- is located behind the luggage compartment side trim (right-side).
–  When renewing control unit, select „Replacement“ function for appropriate control unit in „Guided Fault Finding“.
To do so, use → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
–  Switch off all electrical equipment.
–  Remove ignition key.
Removing
–  Remove luggage compartment side trim (right-side) → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
   
The reversing camera system control unit -J772--3- is wedged in the bracket -2-.
To remove, convenience system central control unit -J393--1- must be removed first and then bracket -2-.
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and nut -5-.

–  Remove bracket -2- from storage compartment to unplug connectors -3- and -4-.
–  Unclip reversing camera system control unit -J772- from bracket -2- and lift it out.
–  Release and unplug connector at reversing camera system control unit -J772-.
Installing
–  Install in reverse sequence of removal.
–  Perform calibration → Chapter.
Tightening torques → Chapter
