Renewing gas discharge bulb L13/L14
Renewing gas discharge bulb -L13-/-L14-
  WARNING
High voltage! Danger to life! Observe environmental requirements.
Safety precautions when handling gas discharge bulbs → Electrical system; General information; Rep. gr.94.
   
Removing
–  Remove headlight housing → Chapter.
–  Release housing cover -1- for gas discharge bulb by turning anti-clockwise -arrow- and detach from headlight housing.

–  Turn gas discharge bulb -2- in direction of -arrow- and take out of housing.
–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Plug connector in again and insert new gas discharge bulb in housing; do not touch glass part of bulb with bare hands.
l  Installation position: The electrical connection faces downwards.

–  Close housing cover by turning clockwise.
l  Mark -2- on headlight housing and arrow -1- on housing cover must be aligned.
–  Install headlight housing → Chapter.
