| If the actual speed differs from the specified speed, the adaptive cruise control unit -J428- detects the difference, recalculates the required acceleration and transmits the new specified acceleration to the engine control unit -J623-. |
| The engine control unit -J623- decides whether, in order to achieve the specified acceleration, it is necessary to increase or reduce the fuel injection quantity, or to apply the brake (the latter is performed via the ABS control unit -J104-). |
