The coding can be checked in „Guided Fault Finding “ or „Guided Functions“ using functional check „05 - Code control unit (Rep.Gr. 96)“. The coding can only be performed using „Software Version Management (SVM)“. |
| If the vehicle is unable to apply current to the ignition key withdrawal lock solenoid due to a technical defect while key is in the ignition lock, the key remains locked in place. To still be able to lock the vehicle, an emergency mechanical key bit can be taken out of the ignition key. |
