General notes and components used
The illumination range of the headlights has to be adjusted to the various loading states of the vehicle because this affects the vehicle's angle of inclination. The prime purpose of this is to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic.
The headlight range for halogen headlights can be controlled manually. Automatic headlight range control is specified for xenon headlights.
Definition: AFS = Advanced Front lighting System = cornering lights
