| The main beam assist controls the activation of the main beam or dipped headlights, depending on the traffic situation and the prevailing ambient conditions. This prevents oncoming traffic from being dazzled and the main beam headlights from being activated unnecessarily. |
| This function is only possible if a rain and light sensor -G397- and main beam assist control unit -J844- are fitted. |
