| The footwell lighting provides assistance when entering and leaving the vehicle. It comprises the front footwell illumination bulbs -L151- and -L152- and the rear footwell lights -W45- and -W46-. |
| The onboard supply control unit -J519- switches the lights on and off in synchronism with the interior lighting door contact circuit (see section 2.2.2). This is subject to the following exceptions: |

| If the interior lighting is activated by opening one of the front doors, only the front footwell illumination bulbs -L151- and -L152- are switched on. |

| If the interior lighting is activated by opening one of the rear doors, only the rear footwell lights -W45- and -W46- are switched on. |
| The front footwell illumination bulbs are switched on together (the same applies to the rear footwell lights). |
