| Also required is the vehicle speed, which is determined by the ABS control unit -J104- based on the signals from the speed sensors and transmitted over the CAN bus to the convenience system central control unit -J393-. |
| On vehicles with quattro drive, the signals from all four speed sensors -G44- to -G47- are used; otherwise only the signals from the front speed sensors -G45- and -G47- are used. |
