Lock Carrier Service Position

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Support Tool (3369)

‹› Do not remove noise insulation, only loosen front quick release screws => [ (Item 1) Quick release screw ] See: Sound Proofing /

Insulation/Service and Repair/Noise Insulation Panel Assembly Overview.

Remove bumper => [ Front Bumper, from MY 2006 ] See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Front Bumper, From MY 2006.

Remove engine cover - 2 - and - 3 -. 

-

Unscrew intake air duct between lock carrier and air cleaner housing at lock carrier and remove.

Install Support Tool (3369) at left and right as shown.
