Remove side trim on sill side. Refer to => [ Side Trim, Sill Side ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front
Seats.

Remove side trim on tunnel side. Refer to => [ Side Trim, Tunnel Side ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seats.

Remove backrest cover panel. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front
Seats.

Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Front Backrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats.

Pry off the clips - 9 - (Qty. 2).

Open Velcro fasteners - 8 - (Qty. 2).

Remove the side molding - 4 -.

Remove the lower molding - 5 - (quantity: 3).

Open the clip - 6 - on the cable guide - 7 -.

Remove the airbag cable - 3 -.

Remove nuts - 2 - (Qty. 2) of side airbag - 1 -.

Remove side airbag - 1 -.

Remove the clip -11- and carefully remove the airbag cable - 3 -.
‹› Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

Make sure the airbag cable - 3 - runs between the backrest and the plastic guide - 10 - and that no tension is being applied to the airbag cable - 3 -.

Install the clip - 11 -.

Switch on ignition.
CAUTION!
No one should be in vehicle when connecting battery.

Connect battery ground strap.
