CAUTION!
Steering lock should not be operated without lock cylinder because it is completely blocked. A blocked steering lock must be replaced.
‹› When replacing the lock cylinder, follow the instructions regarding the immobilizer induction coil.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Place replacement key in lock cylinder and turn to "Ignition ON" position.

Slide steel wire or pin - 1 - again into front side to stop.

Slide lock cylinder - 2 - with induction coil into steering lock housing - 3 -.

Then remove steel wire and press lock cylinder securely in until catch engages audibly.

Connect electrical connector to immobilizer induction coil.

Install Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM).
Vehicles with automatic transmission:

Turn ignition key to "Ignition ON" position.

Guide locking cable - 2 - into ignition lock housing until it audibly engages.
