When doing this, make sure the coil spring fits correctly in the Spring Holder (V.A.G 1752/4) - arrows -.
Coil spring, removing

Remove collar nut from piston rod with special tools (T10001/3 ), (T10001/11) and (T10001/7).

Remove individual components of suspension strut and pretensioned coil spring with Spring Compressor (V.A.G 1752/1).
Shock absorber, replacing
