Selector Shaft Seal

Selector Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry Lever - Rmv Outside Mirror (80-200)

‹› Thrust piece (T10135)

Procedure

Conditions.

Place selector lever in position "P".

Remove left transmission support. Refer to => [ Left and Right Transmission Mount and Transmission Support ] See: Transmission Mount/Service
and Repair.

Press ball socket - 1 - of the selector lever cable off from the selector shaft lever using the pry lever ( 80-200).

‹› Take care not to bend or kink selector lever cable.

‹› Disregard - 2 -.

Drive out the roll pin - 1 - at selector shaft lever -  2 - in direction indicated - arrow - until selector shaft lever can be pulled off selector shaft.

Pierce shaft seal with a small screwdriver and pull out.
