‹› The connection of selector rod to selector mechanism must move freely 

Align shift lever as follows:

-

Center the lower selector lever into the center of the ball guide. 

‹› The distance from the ball guide to the lower selector lever -  arrows - must be equal at all places.

-

Align shift lever so that it points in direction of travel and faces only very slightly (2°) toward right.

-

Hold shift lever in this position.
